Emily McKee is the founder and director of Mountain View Piano Studio. Mountain View Piano Studio is located in the Daybreak neighborhood of South Jordan, Utah. Click here to view the location.

Mountain View Piano Studio offers group classes to children from ages 4-14. Private lessons are offered to adults and students age 15 and older.

Emily started playing the piano at the age of six. She received a Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis on piano from the Hartt School of Music/University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. She received an undergraduate and graduate Kodaly Teaching Certificate and Orff Teaching Certificate and then a Masters of Music Education from DePaul University in Chicago, IL in 1999.

She taught General Music to grades Kindergarten through Sixth for ten years in the Public and Private Schools in Connecticut and Illinois. She started teaching pre-school music classes and ran an early childhood program called Sing, Dance, Play! in California and Pennsylvania. 

She founded her piano studio in Kildeer, Illinois. in 2022 she moved with her family to South Jordan, Utah and now runs her studio out of her home with approximately thirty students.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys working out, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and three adult children. She is looking forward to exploring all of the beautiful things Utah has to offer.
